More news from BMS! Our Map, Compass & Orientating Connections classes spent a day at Pineland Farms putting their work from this Connections rotation to use! Throughout this trimester's class, students learned the basics of how to read topographic maps and some basic compass reading skills! It was great to spend a beautiful day outside navigating all the trails. Thank you Mr. Luchies for helping make this great experience happen for our students!

Each year the Mid-Coast Maine Retired Educators’ Associations gives out three grants to any teacher in the Bath Brunswick area. The applicants submit a proposal in October and the executive committee meets and rates each proposal. This year the Association chose Chef EB Baldwin, Culinary Arts Instructor, as one of the three recipients. The committee was very impressed that the program “Lobster Week” included the professional lobstermen, elementary students and the high school culinary arts students.

The new gaga pit has arrived at BMS! Thanks to Mrs. Willis' and her classes and expertise of building our new and improved recess set up. A special shout out to Mrs. MacPhee and the student council who has been fundraising for the past two years to help make recess time a little more fun and purchased our new equipment piece. Within seconds of finishing, the pit was filled and they were ready to play!
