
Phippsburg Elementary School enjoyed the beautiful weather with some outside time. The kids participated in field day, navigating some challenging obstacles with their friends. Fun time for teachers and students!




This morning Fisher-Mitchell School welcomed our Dike-Newell community with open arms! We're off to a great start and are so thankful students & staff can be together for the last week of school despite our circumstances! A huge shout out to our Facilities Department who worked tirelessly getting these spaces put together and to all the staff members who have stepped up to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved!

Dike-Newell was thrilled last week to welcome the parade of graduates - Congratulations to MHS Class of '22!



FMS took Bingo to a whole new level. Owl pellet bingo was a great way for the students to learn with a hands on activity. They loved it!


8th grade students visit Morse for Step-up Day! Tours were given and activity fair.




Busy time of year at MHS. Yearbooks were distributed and students gathered under the tent in the courtyard for a signing party. Cotton candy and popcorn were on the menu! Also the Lunch Buddies program had their final lunch of the year. A cookout in the courtyard!



PES third graders learned about Pop Art and the artist Claes Oldenberg. Oldenberg is a sculptor who creates giant sculptures of food.

Recently, Dike-Newell School welcomed the Portland Stage Players to our school. They came to do some dramatic readings of several stories, and then did workshops with our second grade classes. What a fun day we had!

DNS was thrilled to welcome author Jennifer Jacobson to our school last week. She shared some of her favorite stories with us and talked about where she gets her great ideas!



The Battle of the Books was a huge success at Woolwich Central School last week. The kids filled the gym with excitement and smiles!



The Dike-Newell second graders recently took their second field trip to Maine Maritime Museum. We learned about maritime transportation on our first visit, and the lobstering industry on our second visit.


Orlane Bognini hosted Morse's first lunch and learn about her experience emigrating from Burkina Faso. 50 students and staff members attended!

On Thursday the PES third-grade students planted potatoes. They were also given some seedlings to take home to plant.
